Research And Open Source Equal Innovation: The Way We Do It - MOSC2011
Conducting research is essential to move forwards in making innovation. Understanding current system is crucial in conducting a research in order to extend it to a new system. Our group is working in a research on secure communication in heterogeneous network – mixed of IPv4 and IPv6. The underlying technology used is IPSec and certificateless cryptosystem. The focuses of our research are in enabling the IPSec channel in a mixed IPv4 and IPv6 network and in integrating the new certficateless cryptosystem in IPSec.
This talk is about our research and how we use open source in our research. We will discuss about the advantages of using open source and how it helps us. We will also presents the software and tools that is used in our research.
