Rails 3 - Writing Beautiful Code - MOSC2011
Ruby on Rails is a breakthrough in lowering the barriers of entry to programming. Powerful web applications that formerly might have taken weeks or months to develop can be produced in a matter of days. Ruby on Rails is an open-source web framework that's optimized for programer happiness and sustainable productivity. It lets you write beautiful code by favoring convention over configuration. Rails3 is derived from rails and merb framework, since than both of them started to share more and more. This presentation will be focus about new features in Rails3.

Amir Haris Ahmad is a visionary in information technology and computer security fields, with particular interest in DNS technology and IPv6. Prior joining Localhost SDN BHD as Chief Security Officer, He was a Senior Researcher at .my DOMAIN REGISTRY, doing research on DNS Security Extension (DNSSEC). Amir's extensive technical background includes DNS, UNIX operating systems, IPv6, and software development in C/C++, ruby and web technology (rails3). He was also a speaker on DNSSEC related topics at few conferences such as MOSC, MYGOSSCON and Hack in The Box (SIGINT-HITB2010KL).
